YouTube, which has always had controversy about free speech, was contacted by Joe Lieberman about videos promoting Islamic Jihad. However, YouTube kept the majority of the videos, and only removed those which were promoting hate speech or showing incessant violence. I am very glad to hear that YouTube keeps promoting free speech.

Just a quick update on the Qur’an for Macintosh, I joined the open source program known as [[Zekr]]. As soon as the beta is out of beta I’ll announce it.

I have realized something: all my resources I use for learning about Islam are online because there is no true Quran or Hadith for Macintosh.  Yes I know that Quran widgets exist (you can find them on the MoCity Islamic Mac Downloads), but those aren’t true native applications because in the end they are widgets.

So I would like to announce that I will be working on the first Quran made for Macintosh that is a true program. Once I finish Ill tell you guys.

Many people around the world are skeptical of Macintosh. Its either too expensive, not compatible, or just too weird. Let me get a few things straight. I am a computer programmer, hacker, graphics artist, and download addict. Yet after many months, I STILL HAVEN’T NEEDED A PC. In fact, I got to the University of Texas at Austin and I have NO Microsoft products installed on my mac. I dont have Explorer, Messenger, or even Office. Yes I know there is a Office:mac . But it’s not necessary where there are free alternatives that work just as good like NeoOffice and OpenOffice.Org.

But anyway, my MacBook is so great looking, has no viruses, has never crashed, and it JUST WORKS. I love it. You microsoft infidels need to be enlightened by the truth. There may be no compulsion in religion, but there should be a cleansing of Windows from the face of this planet.
